Well, it's not even 9:00 in the morning and I'm drinking again. Oh well. Got off work this morning after dealing with every person evolution has ever missed. FUCK. Went to the store and bought a couple cases of Guinness and some ham and egg salad sandwiches and now it' on.

Roused myself out of bed and realized that my weekend was over and I have to go back to work tonight and work through everyone else's weekend. Nothing to rain on your parade like having to deal with the general public for 12+ hours everyday for the entire weekend. Life might not be so bad but as an MP I get to deal with military dependents, the lowest and saddest form of life on earth (right after bloggers).

I'm generally disgusted with the material and have no desire to dive into The American College Student Stereotype's Wonderful Relentless Carnival of Debauchery and Stupidity. No offense to all my friends that have or are currently in college, your all NOTHING like those people...uh, huh.

I am happy to report that I've found a species of pychoactive mushroom that grows in the Redneck infested shithole the Corps has sent me to: Psilocybe Weilii. I was afraid that after Okinawa I was going to be fucked as far as that went but nature has not forsaken me.

I'm planing on taking leave in April but my command is throwing me not so subtle hints that they wont let me go for more than a week or two. I haven't taken vacation in over a year and their going to bust my fucking balls when I finaly do becuase out platoon is undermanned.

Of course the Marine Coprs has a rule that at the end of every fiscal year your aquired leave is reset to 60 days if you have gone over the 60 day mark. At 2.5 days a month I'll be well over my 60 days come October (end of fiscal year) and if I don't start taking it now I'll never have a chance to use it all especially with another Iraq/Afghanistan tour comming up. I should have taken leave earlier while I was stationed overseas, but I refuse to pay the airfare from Okinawa to the States.

Anyway I'm going to be doing alot of running around between flying into The Mouth of Madness (Texas) to see my mother and brother and then running to the other end of the country to pow-wow with my friends back home in Seattle(the entire reason for me taking leave in the first place) before flying all the way back to Fucking Beaufort South Carolina. I'm looking inth the possibility of geting an AMC flight in the back of a C-17 or something from one of the Air Force Bases out here to Fairchild in Texas and then McChord in Seattle, but we'll have to see what happens.

Genesis

Ok I've created a blog and I'm not very pleased. Why? Because blogs are popular and trendy and most blogger vastly overestimate their value as individuals and their contributions to the race as a whole. Still, here I am because I am POSITVE that having a blog will enable me to do two things:

1.) Allow me to vent and ramble in a manner that will make it less likely for me to go off and explode on shift while feeding the lie that I'm doing so in a construcitve manner.

2.) Further reduce the amount of time that I communicate with poeple in an other than physical format even further than I already have while streamlining the information between me and my rapidly dwindiling number of friends.
